Afghan Solar is aware of the environment hazards with Batteries. Clients deposit the used batteries to one of our 20 offices spread throughout Afghanistan.
Batteries are then brought to our recycling plant where they are dismantled and all parts are recycled as per international norms.
With the advent of depriving natural resources and increasing waste, we all need to pitch in to help save the environment. Everyday more and more trash is thrown out instead of being recycled. We need to do our part to save, not trash the environment. Time is a big factor and we need to move forward with reusing and recycling the batteries to reduce our impact on the environment.
Batteries can be recycled. Recycling not only affects the environment in a positive way but also re-creates the lost resources. Increase in wealth, population and technology and the various lifestyle changes, have all led to an unmanageable amount of waste. Harmful gases and chemicals are released into the atmosphere by the rubbish in the landfill sites. Recycling will ensure in restoring the habitats and forest lands. This is the planet that gave us our lives. If she had the power to create, then she also has the power to destroy if we keep abusing her.
Responsibly recycling lead acid batteries saves natural resources and protects human health through reuse of reclaimed materials and by keeping heavy metals out of landfills and water supplies.
Afghan Solar takes its responsibility for the environment.
